Fair Isle Class 2009

Here are some of the sweaters from our 2009 fair isle class. This class has been very popular and almost everyone who has attended the classes in the past have a beautiful fair isle sweater to wear.

I have been busy at the store knitting up some new samples. We are having a class in the Swirl scarf coming up in November. The scarf is easy and fun to knit. The Mariposa shawl is also a very fun shawl to knit. I still have some kits in stock. The February Lady sweater is a free pattern based on EZ's Feb Baby sweater. It is a quick knit in worsted weight yarn and looks good on everyone.

Just Finished the Weekend Felted Travel Bag from the Best of Interweave Knits.  It was fun to knit and really looks stunning.

I finished this sweater from Classic Elite's Curvy Knits booklet #2. It is made out of Waterlily 100% merino yarn. A really wonderful yarn to knit with

It has been some time since my last posting, but my needles have been busy. Currently I have Alice Starmore's Erin from the Celtic Collection, and of course a pair of socks made from some of the newest Opal yarns. I also have the Big V Vest in progress made out of Terra a blend of bamboo and cotton that knits like a dream from SouthWest Trading. A great summer weight yarn.
